MBBS Full FormMBBS is the one of the most popular course around the globe. But do you know, what is MBBS full form?

According to Wikipedia MBBS full form is “Medicinae Baccalaureus and Bachelor of Surgery” In common language MBBS is termed as bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. MBBS includes two programs for undergraduate students. Below tables show MBBS full form:

In another country MBBS abbreviation are MB Bchir, MB BS, MBChB etc. In countries like USA MBBS is termed as MD which abbreviation is Doctor of Medicine. Admission Procedure for MBBS in India:

To become a doctor, one need to enroll with MBBS program, But how people can take admission in MBBS?

Indian government organizes NEET(National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG), It is conducted by central board of secondary education. The Student need to fill NEET form and clear written test to take admission in MBBS. NEET form can be filled in December month of every year. This is only medical exam through which eligible students can get admission into MBBS course.

On the basis of scores achieved in NEET, candidate needs to apply in medical colleges.

12th Mark Sheet Migration Certificate
10th Mark Sheet Passport-size Photographs

Syllabus Required for NEET to Take Admission in MBBS.

To Clear MBBS exam, students must clear his 12th grade from physics, chemistry and biology. The students should prepare each subject in detail.  There are 45 questions from physics, 45 questions from chemistry and 90 questions from Biology, especially from Botany and Zoology. Hence important subject to prepare for the NEET exam to clear MBBS exam are as follows:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Botany
  • Zoology

Prepare well and study basics are the key for exam. It is also advised to join some test series along with tuition.
